Jeannette A. Soha, 80
ADAMS, Mass. — Jeannette A. Soha, 80, of 3 Myrtle St., died on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Cheshire on Dec. 22, 1930, daughter of Arthur and Genevieve Boyer Dupras, she was the 13th of 14 children.
Mrs. Soha enjoyed keeping in touch with her family, playing rummy and checkers, watching TV programs on current events, politics, cooking, baking and old movies. Her kapusta, kielbasa and stuffed peppers were family favorites. Her loving family enjoyed her many stories, which always ended in laughter.
Her husband, Henry S. Soha, died July 24, 2005.
She leaves two daughters, Kathy Furey of Lanesborough and Mary St. Hilaire and her husband, Mark, of Cheshire; a sister, Dorothy Racette; her daughter-in-law, Leslie Chase Soha of Brooklyn, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Wyatt and Sarah, Timothy and Angela, Luke and Amy, Mark John and Kathy, and Chase and Lily; her very special great-grandsons Alexander and Robbie Furey and Alex St. Hilaire, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased her son, Michael H. Soha, and her granddaughter Jenna Marie Soha, and eight brothers and four sisters, Adelard "T Boy" Dupras, Wilfred Dupras, Francis Dupras, Ernest Dupras, Peter Dupras, Theodore Dupras, James Dupras and Donald Dupras, and Beatrice Belanger, Rose Marie Haskell, Helen George, and Mary Knapp.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services and burial Mrs. Soha will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
