Alden S. Jones III, 53
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Alden Sumner Jones III, 53, of 2 Seneca Drive died Monday, April 11, 2011, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Adams on April 6, 1958, son of Patricia Mahar Jones of Williamstown and the late Alden S. Jones Jr., he attended McCann Technical School.
He was an Army veteran.
Mr. Jones was a self-employed craftsman and enjoyed woodworking. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Besides his mother, he leaves his fiancee, Debra Pearson of North Adams; four sons, Alden S. Jones IV of Bennington, Vt., and Chad A. Jones, Kyle S. Jones and Dallas J. Pearson, all of North Adams; a stepdaughter, Lisa Jones of Pittsfield; two brothers, Foster Jones and Ronny Jones, both of North Adams; a sister, Jean Harris of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and seven grandchildren.
His sister Bonnie Reynolds predeceased him.
FUNERAL NOTICE - Calling hours for Mr. Jones will be Thursday, April 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will be private.
