Dianne L. Filiault, 65

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Dianne Louise Filiault, 65, of 20 College Ave. died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at home. Born in North Adams on Nov. 29, 1944, daughter of Joseph and Ann Ziemba Tassone, she graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1963. Mrs. Filiault was last employed by Child Care of the Berkshires in its Healthy Families Program. Before that, she was a day-care provider for 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and a member of its St. Vincent de Paul Society. She also participated in the Eucharistic Adoration at the church. She enjoyed painting rocking chairs and gardening. She was a chaperone at World Youth day in Australia. She and her husband, Richard P. Filiault, were married on July 13, 1996, in Williamstown. Besides her husband, she leaves four sons, Peter Robare of Clarksburg, Jamie Robare of North Adams, Joseph Robare of Lorton, Va., and Colin Robare of Maine; three brothers, Gerald Tassone of Bel Air, Md., Guy Tassone of Williamstown and Terrence Tassone of Virginia Beach, Va., seven grandchildren, Bryce, Kelsey, Ellyn, Anthony, Anora, Liam and Lindsy, and nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Filiault will be Friday, Aug. 27, at 8:15 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 30, at 10. Calling hours will be Thursday, Aug. 26, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Elizabeth Church or COTY-Haiti Earthquake Relief in care of the funeral home.

Diane wil be sadly missed by the Miller family. My sons, Scott and Jeremy grew up with her sons and they house was my sons second home as was my house to her sons. She was a very lovely and kind woman with an open heart. God called home a very loving mother and friend and has a new angel with him.
