ADAMS, Mass. — Jackie Irwin Miles, 23, of 92 East Hoosac St. died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 5, 1986, he was the son of Mitchell Miles of North Adams and Barbara Silvernail of Adams. Besides his father and his mother, with whom he resided, he leaves two brothers, Justin Miles and Jason Miles. FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Mr. Miles will be held on Thursday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.

Jackie was a best friend of mine. He had a funny sense of humor. He is in heaven now making everyone there laugh and smile. I would like to offer my sympathy to his family. I will miss you, Jackie.

Jackie was a strong willed young man who made his presence known all around the MHS campus. I was glad to have had the chance to know Jackie and I will always remember his great smile! My deepest sympathies to his parents and 2 brothers.
