To the Lentine Family,
Not to have Anita with us will be such a loss to the American Legion Auxiliay; an organization which she loved and served for so many years, whether it be for the Veterans or the young people in her community. She served as District 1 Director when I was Department President and to have had the opportunity to present her with a special "Americanism Award" at our recent Department Convention will always stand out as one of those special moments you only get to experience once. God bless all of you. Donna

I heard the news just a day ago. Needless to say you and the family have my sypathies and best wishes. Take some comfort in having her in your lives for 89 years. Mothers are special! I remember her well during my several visits. A gentle sweetheart of a lady. What a marvelous generation of people who are now passing. I’m sure she believes as I do that it’s only the beginning. She is free of her body, her illnesses and probably looking down saying, don’t morn for me, if you could only see where I am. Best wishes to you Frank.

Anita has gone home to her father. She will be missed tremendously by so many people she has touched, through a kind word, caring hands, great listener and patience. She truely stands what her beliefs were and I can honestly state that she never belittled anyone or begrudged anyone in my presence. She was a good wholesome woman with much integrity of what and who she stood for. She will always have a place in my heart.
