Constance M. Gentile, 70
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Constance Marie Gentile, 70, of 13 Mark Lane died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Adams on Feb. 14, 1940, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Dubia Lewis. She attended the Notre Dame Parochial School.
Mrs. Gentile was last employed at Cumberland Farms in North Adams and Williamstown. She worked for many years at Price Chopper and at the former Adams Supermarket.
She was a communicant of the Parish of Pope John Paul the Great in Adams. She enjoyed bingo and dancing, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Gentile, whom she married on July 8, 1994; two daughters, Debra A. Mullett of Pittsfield and Laurie A. Villa of Hollis, Maine; four sons, Gregory J. Charon, Steven M. Charon and Peter Gentile, all of Cheshire, and Joseph W. Charon of Adams; three sisters, Mildred Gould of Chicopee, Roma Andrews of Eustis, Fla., and Delia Andrews of North Adams; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Lewis, and two sisters, Shirley Gazaille and Norma Lecuyer.
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mrs. Gentile will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 8:15 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals West Chapel, 521 West Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
