Helen A. Fisher, 76
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Helen Ann Fisher, 76, of 82 Lincoln St. died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at Kindred Hospital Parkview in Springfield following a long illness.
Born in Williamstown on Jan. 17, 1934, daughter of William and Nellie Blake Ogert, she was educated in Williamstown schools including the former Williamstown High School.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Fisher was self-employed in home and child care and had been employed as an aide at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown.
She attended St. John's Episcopal Church of Williamstown.
Her husband, Ronald E. Fisher, whom she married Feb. 14, 1952, died Aug. 23, 2001.
She leaves two daughters, Darleen Fisher of Seminole, Fla., and Elaine Fisher of Tampa, Fla.; five sons, Brian A. Fisher, Stephen M. Fisher and Matthew A. Fisher, all of North Adams, Robert J. Fisher of Clearwater, Fla., and Timothy C. Fisher of Tampa; a sister, Betty Poirot of Drury; three brothers, Francis Ogert of Dalton, Howard Ogert of Scituate, R.I., and Sidney Ogert of Williamstown; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Perras, Jessie Fisher, Amy Fisher, Nicholas Fisher, Mackenzie Fisher, Elizabeth Fisher and Shaleese Fisher, and
many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters, Nelson Ogert, John Ogert, Kenneth Ogert, William Ogert, Eleanor Kemp, Carol Ogert, Dorothy Cove and Ruth Ogert, at birth.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Fisher will take place Tueday, July 6, at 2 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, Mass.
Any donations in her memory are suggested for St. John's Episcopal Church of Williamstown, through the funeral home.
