Arthur F. Jolin, 84
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Arthur Francis Jolin, 84, of 35 McCauley Lane died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at home.
Born in Williamstown on May 23, 1926, a son of Alfred and Marie Louise Brousseau Jolin, he attended schools there.
A decorated Marine veteran of the Korean War, he served as a private first class.
Mr. Jolin was employed for more than 32 years at the former Photech. He had first worked as an auto mechanic at various local garages.
He was a communicant of the Parishes of Sts. Patrick and Raphael and was an avid car enthusiast.
He and his wife, the former Theresa Lanoue, were married on July 1, 1950, in Bennington, Vt.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Gail Robare and her husband, Peter, of North Adams; two sons, Richard Jolin and his wife, Judy, of North Adams and Gary Jolin and his wife, Karen, of Williamstown, and five grandchildren, Michael Jolin, Kyle Jolin, Steven Robare, Timothy Jolin
and Kris Jolin.
He was predeceased by his six brothers Alfred Jolin, William Jolin, Rolland "Babe" Jolin, Almund "Bob" Jolin, Samuel Jolin and Albert Jolin.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Jolin will take place Thursday, July 1, at 11 at St. Patrick's Church, Williamstown. Burial with military honors will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours will be Wednesday evening, June 30, from 4 to 7 at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
