Donna M. Martin, 62

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Donna M. Martin, 62, of 9 Bliss St. died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Cambridge, N.Y., on Sept. 14, 1947, daughter of Francis and Catherine Thorton Dooley, she attended school in Hoosick Falls, N.Y. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Martin was employed at Boston Sea Foods Restaurant for several years. Her focus in life was her family and being a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Bethel Pentecostal Church. S She and her husband, Richard Francis Martin Sr., were married Oct. 9, 1965, in Clarksburg. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Christina Martin-Brown and her husband, Terrance, of North Adams; three sons, Francis Martin and Charles Martin and his wife, Rebecca, all of North Adams, and William Beliveau of South Carolina; two brothers, Thomas Dooley and William Dooley, both of Hoosick Falls; three sisters, Theresa Patalino of Malta, N.Y., and Elizabeth Sbroga and Rita Doooley, both of Hoosick Falls, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Richard F. Martin Jr. on June 11, 1976, and her sisters Marie Burns and Margaret Weatherwax. FUNERAL NOTICE â€' Funeral services for Mrs. Martin will take place Monday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, Feb. 28, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for the Shriners' Children's Hospital through the funeral home.
