Mario A. Rodriguez, 67
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Mario Antonio Rodriguez, 67, of 341 Walnut St. died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at North Adams Commons.
Born in Havana, Cuba, on April 30, 1942, son of Antonio and Mercedes Amador Rodriguez, he attended schools in Cuba and came to the United States in 1961.
An Army veteran, he served during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Rodriguez was employed by the former Carol Cable Co. for 25 years and lastly by the North Adams Public Schools until his retirement in 2001.
An avid sportsman, he loved hunting and fishing.
He leaves his wife, the former Valerie Bullett, whom he married on Feb. 29, 1964; a son, Antonio Rodriguez of Adams; two daughters, Deborah Dargie of North Adams and Aimee Raifstanger of Sandisfield, and five grandchildren, Samantha and Adam Rodriguez, Keegan Dargie and Mercedes and Kasen Raifstanger.
FUNERAL NOTICE - Services for Mr. Rodriguez will be private. There will be no calling hours.
