Angelina A. Williams, 86
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Angelina A. Williams, 86, of 470 North St. died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at Sweet Brook Care Centers.
Born in Readsboro, Vt., on March 25, 1923, a daughter of Vito and Erminia DeLaiti Massari, she attended schools there.
Mrs. Williams was employed by several companies in the area, including the former Cornish Wire and Excelsior Printing.
Her focus in life was her family and she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Friendship club at the Harper Center, the Red Hat Society and the Jollee Circle Club.
Her husband, Kenneth Elliot Williams, whom she married Aug. 21, 1948, died Aug. 8, 1990.
She leaves four daughters, Mary Hayes and her companion, Ronald Tetreault, of North Adams, Joanne Thornton of Williamstown, Carol Martin and her husband, James, of Williamstown and Christine Meehan and her husband, Stephen, of Townsend; a son, Kenneth E. Williams Jr. of Adams; her twin brother, Silvano Massari and his wife, Jean, of Readsboro, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by another brother in infancy.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will take place Monday, Dec. 21, at 10:15 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 from Sts. Patrick & Raphael Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Dec. 20, from 4 to 7. Memorial donations are suggested for the Harper Center through the funeral home.
