John R. Norman, 72
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — John R. Norman 72, of 440 East Main St. died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at home.
Born in Clarksburg on Jan. 5, 1937, son of Albert and Viola Foisey Norman, he was employed as a truck driver for several companies in the area.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He leaves his wife, the former Shirley Primmer Norman, whom he married May 1, 1976, in North Adams; two sons, Robert E. Thomas and his wife, Donna, of North Adams and Clifton I. Thomas of North Adams; a brother, Albert Norman of Clarksburg; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his siblings Roy Norman and Carol Vallieres.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services will take place Saturday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
A calling hours will be held Saturday from 1 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial Donations are suggested for the VNA and Hospice of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home.
