Frank T. MacBrien, 75

READSBORO, Vt. â€' Frank T. MacBrien, 75, of 291 Ross Road died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at North Adams (Mass.) Regional Hospital. Born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on Dec. 30, 1933, son of Frank C. and Elizabeth "Betty" Case MacBrien, he attended Hyde Park, N.Y., schools, including Franklin Roosevelt High School. Mr. MacBrien worked as a plumber for 40 years for Local 201 in Poughkeepsie. He was a member of the Northern Berkshire YMCA in North Adams. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and the ocean. He was a good story teller and was devoted to his family. He leaves his wife, the former Thelma J. Tagg, whom he married on April 3, 1964; two sons, Mark MacBrien of Waterbury, Vt., and Matthew MacBrien of Blue Ridge, Va.; four daughters, Theresa Bradley of Clinton Corners, N.Y., Elizabeth Rugar of Arvada, Colo., Michele Stenson of Saline, Mich., and Tammy Downs of Hopewell Junction, N.Y.; two brothers, Wayne MacBrien, Richard MacBrien, both of Dutchess County, N.Y.; two sisters, Doreen Volnick and Sharon DiMetro, both of Dutchess County; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE â€' A memorial service for Mr. MacBrien will be held at the Readsboro Baptist Church at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.

Dear Aunt Thelma and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Frank. I remember him fondly....with all the cousins and the cabin in Vt. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
