Joseph E. Connor Jr., 52
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Joseph Edward Connor Jr., 52, of 81 Langlois Ave. died Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Born in Dalton on July 19, 1957, son of Gloria Engwar Conner of Dalton and the late Joseph E. Conner Sr., he attended Reid Middle School in Pittsfield.
Mr. Connor was last employed by GuardPlus24 Security Co. in North Adams. Prior to that, he was head custodian for 23 years at Hillcrest Educational Centers in Lenox.
He enjoyed working around his house and was a fan of the New England Patriots.
Besides his mother, he leaves his partner of five years, Terrence Farber; two sisters, Judith Reinhold of Windsor and Nancy MacDonald of Lee; two brothers, Timothy Conner of Hinsdale and Scott Conner of Pittsfield, nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A private funeral for Mr. Connor will be held at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
