Winifred T. Lefebvre, 92
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Winifred T. "Winnie" Lefebvre, 92, of 85 Eagle St., St. Joseph's Court, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Forest City, Pa., on April 7, 1917, daughter of Cirillo F. and Catherine Franceski, she attended school and St. Joseph's Church in Forest City until her family moved to Clifford, Pa.
Mrs. Lefebvre and her husband, the late Alfred Eugene "Pat" Lefebvre, were married Sept. 28, 1947. They moved to Holbrook Street and were active communicants of the former Notre Dame de Sacre Coeur Church until its closure.
She leaves three sons, Donald Lefebvre and his wife, Jeannie, David Lefebvre and his wife, Pam, and Dennis J. Lefebvre; two sisters, Catherine Pepson and Elizabeth Bishop; two brothers, Joseph and Claude Franceski; three granddaughters, Erin, Tracy, and Donna; five grandsons, Christopher, Patrick, Shawn, Willis and Justin, three great-grandchildren, Brooke, Tristan, and Cameron Jane, and many nieces and nephews, including Barbara Seere Gattuso, with whom she had a special relationship.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Edward Franceski, Francis Franceski, Cyril Franceski, Albert Franceski, David Franceski, Richard Franceski and Leo Franceski; and another sister, Jean Franceski.
FUNERAL HOME â€' A private graveside service will be held at the family plot at Southview Cemetery, North Adams. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
