Rejean Gamache, 68
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Rejean Gamache, 68, of South Street died Monday, May 11, 2009, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield after being unexpectedly stricken.
He was born in St. John, Quebec, on Feb. 26, 1941, son of Emile and Corrina Tremblay Gamache.
Mr. Gamache was employed at the former Arnold Print Works in Adams, until its closing. Known as "Mr Fix-It" by many, he was always working on projects around the house and for others.
He and his wife, the former Judith Harrington, were married Oc. 20, 1984, in Hancock.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Adam Gamache of North Adams; a daughter, Jenna Lescarbeau and her husband, Jon, of North Adams; several brother and sisters in Canada, and a grandson, Gabriel Lescarbeau of North Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' Funeral services for Mr. Gamache will be conducted Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at Auge-San Soucie-Simmons Funeral Home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, by the Rev. Charles Young.
Calling hours will be held Thursday at the funeral home beginning at 3. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
