Florence M. Mauderer, 87
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. â€' Florence Marie Mauderer, 87, of 118 Church St. died Friday, March 20, 2009, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in New York City on March 15, 1922, daughter of Herman J. and Doris Martin Mauderer, she attended schools there and graduated from Katherine Gibbs School.
She was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Ms. Mauderer was last employed by the Boca Raton Hotel in Boca Raton, Fla., and as secretary for its convention center for 24 years. She moved to Williamstown in 1992.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and was a member of the Friendship Club at the Harper Center.
She leaves two nieces, Suzanne Schroeter of New Ashford and Carol Arriens of Longmont, Colo.; a nephew, Louis Schroeter III of Williamstown, and five grandnieces and five grandnephews
Her sister, Doris Schroeter, is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' A memorial service for Ms. Mauderer will be held in St. Patrick's Church in at a later date. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
