High School Classmate and good friend

He did much good for many persons

Bud was an invaluable companion in helping our father maintain his independence when he no longer drove his own car. Any time of day, Bud could be counted on to show up at the retirement home to get dad to doctor's appointments, the post office, grocery store--wherever he needed or wanted to go. We considered him a valuable member of our family "team," and were ever appreciative of the important role he played. Thank you, Bud, from all of us. Our thoughts are with your family and close friends and their loss of your steadfast presence.

“No problem” were the words that Bud was so well known for when asked to perform any task at the office from clearing the snow an extra time, to putting up a sign, to running an errand or whatever needed doing on short notice. Whatever the request, Bud was always there with a cheerful can-do attitude.

Bud was a fiercely loyal, hard working and dependable employee as well as a friend. Bud came to our Christmas party this past December and wore a Santa hat along with the rest of us sharing the good spirit (not spirits since there was no alcohol and Bud did not drink) and camaraderie of the evening.

Bud was a good natured and dedicated volunteer in so many worthy ways around town. He was in his own humble way, a great booster and worker for the community.

Bud was asked to take in a wonderful cat a little over a year ago and they both bonded very quickly. He now had a friend to share TV with and she had some warm feet to sleep on at night. It was a good match and the marvelous Snowshoe Siamese will miss him as much as the rest of his large family.

Bud passed we trust, very peacefully, most likely without even realizing the tragedy that was surrounding his accident. His family, his friends, his fellow veteran and of course, we at the agency, miss him already.

May God bless Bud on his journey forward.
