Donna B. Cyr, 68
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Donna Betsy Cyr, 68, of 10 Cherokee Drive died Saturday evening, Jan. 27, 2007, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on June 25, 1938, daughter of Gordon and Stella Noel Lesure, she attended schools in North Adams.
Mrs. Cyr worked as a technician for the former Sprague Electric Co.
She was a communicant of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas in Adams.
She and her husband, Leo P. "Spike" Cyr, were married June 21, 1974.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Scott Strange of Clarksburg, and a stepson, Stephen Cyr of North Adams; a daughter, Kelly Tatro of North Adams, and a stepdaughter, Jacqueline Cyr of Pittsfield; a sister, Sandy Pilling of Stamford, Vt.; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by another daughter, Lori Strange Lype.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 8:45 a.m. from Auge-San Soucie-Simmons Funeral Home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at Notre Dame des Sept Doulors Church, Adams, by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Catholic Parishes of Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home.
