Martin C. Cristofolini, 67

STAMFORD, Vt. —
It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the untimely passing our Martin Carl Cristofolini. He died on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Albany Medical Center from renal failure complications.
He was born on January 20, 1958 as the middle child on Margie (Tower) Cristofolini of Readsboro, VT and the late Aldo Cristofolini. He leaves behind two brothers, Michael Cristofolini of North Adams and James Cristofolini of Indiana. He also leaves his beloved wife of 35 years, Shelley Conlon Cristofolini of Stamford Vermont, along with his former wife Shari Cristofolini of Readsboro. Martin is survived by four daughters, Lynsey (Steve) Cristofolini, Ashley (Brandon) Gilvey, Katelyn (Ben) Raimer and Kelley (Jason) Wilson-Wood. His doting attention was on the loves of his life, his eight grandchildren; Hadleigh and Delaney Gilvey, Carson and Jackson Raimer, Reese Wilson, Rylan and Nolan Wood and Alexander Kemp; his cousins, Richard (Tracie) Cristofolini and Lisa Cristofolini; his mother-in-law Marion Conlon; two aunts, Vicky Trudeau and Shirley Emerson and by nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his aunt and uncle, Mario and Florence Cristofolini and by his father-in-law, Michael Conlon.
Martin was a graduate of the 1976 class of Drury High School. As a younger man he worked for the Readsboro Cemetery Department and the Readsboro chair Factory. He subsequently earned his brokers Real Estate License under Century 21 in North Adams and then went on to earn a Certified Real Estate Appraisers license and worked in his own business under Landmark Appraisals in North Adams for 37 years until retiring in 2022.
Martin loved golfing, weekend camp hunting trips with his best friend Richie Codogni and weekend drives in his custom Camaro, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He formed many special bonds with great and supportive friends over the years. He was known for his pearly white smile, youthful face and no, he didn't dye his hair. He was always ready and willing to help anyone needing it. Generous and honest to a fault, he will be greatly missed by all.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27th at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joachim’s Church, 342 Tunnel St. Readsboro, VT. A gathering will be held in the church hall following the funeral mass.
