Patricia A. Strzepek, 78

ADAMS, Mass. —

Mrs. Patricia Anne (George) Strzepek, 78, of Adams, died Monday morning, February 17, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in Adams on January 10, 1947, a daughter of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Satko) George and attended Adams schools, graduating from the former Adams Memorial High School with the Class of 1964. She also attended Bay Path College and North Adams State College.

Pat worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for 50 years for JoAnn Gagne Tax Service and Mid-Town Tax Service in Adams.

She was a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church and the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams, where she was active in many parish activities. She was a charter member of Youth Center, Inc. in Adams, and served as Secretary of the Trustees of W. B. Plunkett Memorial Hospital. She was a ballot tabulator for the Adams Registrar of Voters for many years and served as a Notary Public. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David M. Strzepek, whom she married on May 30, 1968; her son, Eric Strzepek and his wife Erica of Harwich, MA; her daughter, Sarah Hart of Adams; her brother, Emil George and his wife Elizabeth of Pittsfield; her sister, Susan Cooksey of The Villages, FL; her five grandchildren, Jarrett, Cole and Nolan Strzepek and Kaitlin and Julianna Hart; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22nd at 10:00 AM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. A calling hour will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, directly before the funeral, in the funeral home.
