Madeline V. Cuccia, 83

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Madeline V. Cuccia, 83 of North Adams, MA died on Saturday November 23, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center.

She was born in North Adams, MA on May 17, 1941, a daughter of Lawrence and Lena (Guidera) Cuccia. She attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1959.

Madeline worked in the Admissions Office at Williams College for 32 years until her retirement in 2003. Before that, she worked for Sprague Electric Co. for 10 years.

She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church where she volunteered at its annual bazaar for many years and was a member of its St. Vincent de Paul Conference. Madeline enjoyed cooking and was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her cousins in the Matranga and Cuccia families in North Adams and in California. She was predeceased by her sisters, Cathrine Cuccia who died on April 15, 1989 and Domenica M. Cuccia who died on April 10, 1978.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Madeline Cuccia will be celebrated Monday December 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
