Peter Monroe Brower, 81

Peter Monroe Brower 81, of Dalton, Ma. died suddenly on Sunday November 17, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Oceanside New York on March 31, 1943 a son of the Walter Monroe Brower and Yvonne Emilie (Rehaut) Brower and grow up in Woodmere, NY.

Peter graduated from Canton University and was a dedicated and loyal fireman for the FDNY South Bronx Fire Department Engine #88. He also was a member of the Woodmere, NY. and Dalton, MA. Volunteer Fire Departments.

His wife Patricia “Patty” Winn died September 25, 2020. Survivors include his loving children Peter J. Brower (Maria), Christopher Brower (Tara), Brian Brower (Mary), Yvonne Brower, Robert Jasso Jr. and Risa Jasso Maynard (Joe). He also leaves seven grandchildren, brother Gregory Richard Brower and sister Elizabeth Louise Perri.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Peter Monroe Brower will take place on Saturday November 23, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery, Dalton, MA. Calling hours will be held on Friday November 22, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
