Scott M. Pierce, 62

WINDSOR, Mass. —Mr. Scott M. Pierce, 62, of Windsor, died Saturday morning, November 16, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Pittsfield on September 26, 1962, son of the late Alfred and Rita (Finnegan) Pierce. He attended local schools, graduating from Wahconah High School, Dalton.

Scott last worked for Apkin & Sons in North Adams for several years. Earlier, he had worked at the former Catamount Pellet Fuel Co. in Adams. He was a member of the Western Mass. Tractor Pullers Association, and enjoyed logging, his dogs, and raising chickens.

He is survived by his wife, the former Sue Mach, whom he married on May 15, 1999; a daughter, Kayla Pierce of Cheshire; three sisters, Cheryl Lewis of Texas, Lisa Pierce-Buffis and her husband Jim of Lee, and Kim Witek and her husband, Bill McNeice, of North Adams; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a half sister, Betty Ackley.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Scott’s family on Saturday, November 23rd from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams.
