Patricia Barbeau, 83

Patricia Mary (Dupuis) Barbeau, 83 of Hancock died at home on Monday, November 11, 2024. Patricia was born in North Adams on November 7, 1941, a daughter of Albert and Barbara (Harris) Dupuis.  She attended schools in North Adams and was a graduate of Drury High School.

Patricia married William Oliver Barbeau on November 5, 1960.  He predeceased her on April 30, 2011. She worked as a waitress at Cozy Corner Restaurant and several other restaurants in the area. She also was a CNA at Willowood Nursing Home in North Adams. She was last employed at North Adams Regional Hospital as a Secretary in the Operating Room. Patricia looked forward to spring every year to watch and feed the hummingbirds, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed traveling in her younger years with her husband.

Patricia is survived by her son Scott Barbeau (Jodi) of Hancock, her daughter Paige Gleason (Gary Wesolowski) of Florida, MA and her sister Susan Marsh of Alabama.  She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE:  Funeral Services for Patricia Barbeau will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.  Memorial donations are suggested for No Paws Left Behind in North Adams, Shriners Children’s Hospital and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. We worked in the OR together for years! As a young nursing grad working w/ the “older” gals, Pat and Bill became good friends along w/ June…. They kept me busy going out and we had soooooo many laughs and fun times!All my sympathies and love during this time??
