Jacqueline Andrews, 93

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. —  

Mrs. Jacqueline (Bilodeau) Andrews, 93, of Williamstown, died on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Craneville Place of Dalton.

She was born in Pittsfield on February 1, 1931, daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorothy (Michael) Bilodeau. She attended schools in Dalton and graduated from the former Dalton High School.

Mrs. Andrews last worked for many years as a home health aide for Elder Services until retiring. Earlier she had worked for the former LL Brown Paper Company, Sprague Electric Company and had driven school bus.

She was a longtime member of the Plainfield Congregational Church in Plainfield. She was a member of the Plainfield Grange and enjoyed knitting, gardening, canning, square dancing, horse pulls, traveling and shopping. She loved family gatherings, especially Christmas.

Her husband, Sydney E. Andrews, whom she married on September 23, 1950, died on October 19, 2011.

She is survived by her two daughters, Yvonne Andrews of Williamstown and Dianne Marie Maselli of Cheshire; five grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Robert, Peter, Theodore and Ronald Bilodeau

The funeral will be held on Friday, November 1st at 12:00 NOON in the Plainfield Congregational Church, 356 West Main St., Plainfield, MA 01070. Burial will follow in Hill Top Cemetery, Plainfield. There are no calling hours.

Memorial Donations may be made to the City of North Adams Toy Drive and mailed to the North Adams Police Department, Attn: Maryann King, 21 Holden St., North Adams, MA 01247.
