Ann M. Zaleski, 73

ADAMS, Mass. —

Mrs. Ann Marie (Dupras) Zaleski, 73, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Adams, entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born in Adams on July 3, 1951, daughter of the late James and Margaret (Lyons) Dupras. She spent her childhood in Adams and graduated from the former Adams Memorial High School.

Ann worked for the former Sprague Electric Company in North Adams and later in the culinary department of Charles H. McCann Technical High School for many years until her retirement in June 2008.

Ann loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved playing bingo, collecting bears, shopping and most of all, cooking for holidays and special events.

She is survived by her husband, David L. Zaleski, whom she married on July 5, 1971; her two sons, James (Becki) Zaleski of Adams; David M. Zaleski of Adams; nine grandchildren, Zachary, MacKenzie, Sarinna, Olivia, Simon, Cayden and Sawyer Zaleski, Quinton Thomas and Caleb O’Brien; her brother Daniel Dupras (Leah) of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Pierce of Cheshire and Helen Dupuis (Greg) of Lanesboro as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 10:00 A.M. in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, are Friday, October 4th from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

I have fond memories of Mrs. Z from my time at McCann in the early 90's She was the nicest lunch lady ever. I live one town south in Palm Bay FL and didn't even know she retired here. God Speed ma'am.
