Susan Doris (Gardner) Todd, 73

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Susan Doris (Gardner) Todd, 73 of North Adams died on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Williamstown Commons.

Susan was born in Pittsfield on July 23, 1951, a daughter of Charles and Florence (Eurbin) Gardner.  She was a graduate of Pittsfield High School in Pittsfield and of the Nursing Program at Berkshire Community College.  She was married to Winthrop “Buster” Todd, Jr. of North Adams.

Susan began her nursing career at North Adams Regional Hospital and later at Berkshire Medical Center, Williamstown Commons and Hillcrest Commons. She was a very devoted nurse to the patients she cared for.  

She is survived by her seven children; Greg Alexander (Lisa) of North Adams, Walter Alexander of Nebraska, Heather Alexander (Eric) of Pittsfield, Beau Alexander of Bennington, VT, Amber Alexander of Pittsfield, Ebony Alexander (John) and Winthrop BJ Todd, III (Alexis).  She also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings.

FUNERAL NOTICE:  At Susan’s request there will be no services.   Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.

I am so very sorry to hear of this great loss. Sue was a strong amazing woman. She was always very kind to me and made me laugh and feel welcome the many of days and nights i spent there growing up with her daughters. My deepest condolences to her family.

Sue was such a hard workee, she would go from one job to the next. She never complained, she worked hard for her kids.
RIP Sue, I am sorry you didnt get to enjoy retirement and the great grand kids.
