Gerry had been a friend of our family since the 1980s when she became my mother's hairdresser and then began cutting my hair as well. We remained friends right up until her passing.

It was three or four weeks ago I ran into Gerry in Walmart. Every now and again I would run into her 'in the wild' as I like to say, at Big Y or Walmart. If she needed a ride I would give her one.

We will all miss Gerry very much. However, she is now with all of her family that has already passed.
