So sorry to hear of the passing of our friend Wayne what a great person. We have known him forever Mike worked with him and we also had the pleasure of knowing him for his many years at Ruggles Golf Course with all his buddies. We always had the pleasure to call him up and BS with him we’d put him on speaker phone and would laugh and listen to all his stories. He loved to bet on the horses as well. He has us hooked on sweet cherries he told us if we eat them it has to be with Vermont cheese only because eating them together tastes like a cherry cheesecake. We will miss our talks with him such a very dear friend. Our prayers are with you all. He talked often about his nieces coming to help out and of course his golfing family as well.

To the Family of Wayne Sargent...to David and Donald, who were like brothers to Sarge, please accept my deepest sympathy and condolence at his passing. If you knew Wayne, you'll miss his unique character...if you knew Wayne, you'll miss his humor, and intellect...if you knew Wayne, you'll miss his "caring and consideration," and if you knew Wayne, you will miss his conversation's, and bigger-than-life presence when in your company...I know I will. R.I.P. Sarge, your job here is done...

So very sorry to read this. I grew up with Wayne. He was a lot of fun and a great guy. I happened to see him in 2017, we were both in North Adams at the same time. Little did I know it would be the last time. Soar high my friend. Say hi to all of our friends that went before you. My condolences to his family. RIP.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of my very good friend. Sarg was always a wonderfully funny man. He always had a good word to say, and was always concerned with the health of others. I was looking forward to his visit in October. He will be missed here in Sarasota as he had many good friends here. my sympathies go out to all of his family and friends there in Maryland. God bless.
