Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

I am so sorry to see this sad news about Elaine. I treasure the memories I have of being lucky enough to have her and Tom as my neighbor. I enjoyed our daily chats at the clothesline and while weeding our perennials. Her love of her family was evident and she always kept me up to date about their accomplishments. She was especially excited to share the news about an upcoming visit from her children or a grandchild coming to spend the week. She was so busy preparing for them to come. They were her world. I feel blessed to have known such kind people. I am so sorry for your loss.

I have been missing my Southview chance meetings & chats with Elaine & Tom for a few years. Our conversations were always enriched by the knowledge & sensitivities that both contributed. Before that, Elaine & I had enjoyed an effective & satisfying partnership with the NA LWV. Sad as I am to lose such a dear friend, I offer my most sincere sympathy & condolences to Elaine’s family.
