Dianne Katherine Petri, 85

Dianne Katherine Petri, 85 of North Adams and Pittsfield died Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Mount Carmel Care Center.

Diane was born in Providence, RI on October 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Frank and Constance Margaret (Williston) Petri. Diane loved to meet people and socializing. People of notoriety that she met were Cole Porter, Heavyweight boxing champion Archie Moore and actor Christopher Reeves, AKA Superman. Dianne was also an avid Red Sox fan.

Diane is survived by her brothers, James Petri of North Adams and John Petri and his wife Carol of Pompano, FL. She also leaves her nephews, William Vareski, Jr. and wife Rebecca, and their children Tyler Vareski and Nicole Vareski, and John Petri, Jr. and wife Elizabeth and their children Chase Petri and Jake Petri. She was predeceased by her sisters; Nan Vareski and her husband William, Patricia Thomason and Frances “Frankie” Jones and her husband Richard.
