Maryann Pinsonneault, 70
ADAMS, Mass. —
Mrs. Maryann Pinsonneault, daughter of Henry “Jig” Jagiello, Jr. and Gloria (Oliveri) was born on May 31, 1953 in Adams, where she grew up and raised her own family. She attended Adams public schools and was a graduate of the first class of Hoosac Valley High School in 1971, where she was named “Class Clown" in her high school yearbook. She met her loving husband, Dennis Pinsonneault, in 1970 at a New Years Eve Party at her friend Sandy’s camp. They married on May 7, 1977 at St. Stanislaus Chapel, surrounded by friends and family. They went on to have one daughter - Krista, their pride and joy, on April 6th 1982 in the middle of a snowstorm.
Maryann spent many years at various jobs, managing KMart, sewing at Hunter’s, making sandwiches at Coffee Time Vending, retailing at Filene’s, and finally pressing shirts at Cintas until their closure. From that time on, she spent much of her time caring for her home, giving kitchen table advice on life, fashion and everything in between, and looking after her sweet golden grandpuppies.
Maryann loved her family more than anything else in the world except maybe Bruce Springsteen, the Boston Red Sox, Tom Brady, the ocean, online shopping and sharing memes on Facebook. She hibernated much of the winter months on her couch watching true crime documentaries or Chip and Joanna Gaines for decorating inspiration, emerging just in time for spring training, and preparing to spend her summer afternoons floating in her daughter’s pool.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Dennis, of forty-seven years, her daughter Krista (Pinsonneault) Gmeiner and her husband Joshua, her rescue cat Tuffy G, her grandpuppy Bentleigh, and her best friends of sixty-five years Nancy Snyder and Sandy Czubryt. She was predeceased by her parents, her Babci, her two brothers Michael and Jeff Jagiello, and her grandpuppy Jax who she spent countless hours throwing tennis balls to for the last twelve and half years.
She loved hard and laughed harder than most. She could match wits with anyone, but mostly did so with her husband Dennis. She was a devoted wife, mother, Meems, and friend. Maryann left this world unexpectedly on February 7, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones after complications from a short illness. That evening, her passing was marked by a fiery red sunset; a symbol of her fiery spirit.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by a short service. In lieu of flowers, all donations should be made to PopCares, P.O. Box 482, Williamstown, MA 01267.
