Maryann LaFrance,76

Maryann Lee (Stiles) LaFrance 76, of North Adams died Saturday January 20, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She was born in Worcester, MA. on May 4, 1947 a daughter of Walter Stiles Sr. and Corrine (Meola) Stiles.

Maryann attended schools in Worcester and graduated from Rob Roy Academy for Hair and Cosmetology. She was employed at Williams College Dining Services and at JC Penney’s as a hairdresser. She retired from Stop & Shop Supermarket in North Adams.

Maryann was very empathetic toward animals, enjoyed being around them and helping them when she could. Survivors include her husband Edward A LaFrance whom she married January 15, 2013, four brothers Walter Stiles Jr. (Jean), Kevin Stiles (Elizabeth), Philip Stiles (Paula), Dennis Stiles (Deirdre), three sisters Cheryl Bleau, Debra Maguire, Jacqueline French and a special niece Loreen “Love Bug”. She was predeceased by sister Christine “Tina” Biggins and her husband Robert, sister Doreen Lebel and her husband Henry and brother-in-law Thomas French.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday January 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Calling Hours at the funeral home are from 9:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations are suggested for Pop Cares P.O. Box 482 Williamstown, MA. 01267. Maryann was the god mother to my daughter Marissa.

Auntie Maryann, you will be deeply deeply missed. I can recall when you lived in greendale I use to go with you to your work and you would be drinking your favorite coke a cola at like 8 in the morning, you did my hair for junior prom, you were extremely excited to learn of me having babies again and couldn’t wait to hold Serenity. All the family cookouts at uncle Philips, auntie Debbie, everything. I have gained another beautiful Angel. Rest in the sweetest peace auntie give mommy and daddy a kiss for me along with Grammy grampy uncle Bob auntie Tina and Uncle Tom
