Condolences to Betty and all of Bill's family. Bill was my first barber, conveniently ariund the corner from my grandmother (Memare). I walked to the shop on my own as a young boy. Bill truly enjoyed everyone and, prior to my turn in the chair, I enjoyed his joy and kindness to everyone ahead of me. I always knew that he was a unique person and I'm sad that we didn't cross paths as the years passed. Memories of the shop and both Bill and Elmo will akwalways make me smile.
