Julie Snow, 62

Julie Loesa (Burdick) Snow, 62 of Hancock, Ma died on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center.

 She was born in Pittsfield, MA on September 23, 1961, a daughter of Joan (Maynard) Burdick and the late Wesley Burdick. She attended Hancock schools and was graduated from New Lebanon Central High School. She obtained her Associates degree from Herkimer Community College.

Julie was a member of Hancock Baptist Church. She was employed in the Finance/Accounting Department for the Town of Williamstown for twenty years.

Julie sense of adventure drew her to several trips out West, with travels to the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion Nation Park. One of her favorite journeys was a donkey ride down the Grand Canyon.

She is survived by her mother Joan Burdick of Hancock; husband Joseph E Snow of Hancock; two daughters Emma and Samantha. She also leaves her three grandchildren who she absolutely adored; twins Eden and Addison and Caleb and her brothers Marc and Scott Burdick, both of Hancock. She was predeceased by her father Wesley Burdick.

At her request there will be no services. The Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma. are in charge of arrangements.

Julie was a joy to have as a close colleague in the workplace. Her smile and humor always made my day. Her intelligence and problem solving skills made for a very smooth running office. I feel very fortunate to have had her in my life for many years.

For twenty years Julie was the calm eye at the center of the storm. She was diligent and intelligent, but above all honest and accurate. Her particular skill was research. She could assemble the pieces of a financial puzzle no matter how far back in history lay the clues. And you knew you could depend on her conclusions. Always in good humor. God bless you, Julie.
