Recollections & Sympathy For the Family
Post Comment
My condolences to the family; this is a late posting, but I only recently heard from my friends Cricket & George of Walking Cat's passing (I never knew her as "Beverly"). Our friendship was a casual one, but spanned many years. We often met at the Pow-Wows, or when I was with a local Country band, or at various places in and around town. Her warmth & kind spirit was infectious, and I'll miss her greatly. I'm holding a good thought for you, my friend...

May your beautiful soul rest in peace. When growing up from a child to a adult she was known to me as Cat Woman. Don't know and it is how I remember her. I enjoyed having conversations with her all over the town of North Adams. Could be in main st waiting for bus, couldn't been at stop n shop when she rang the bells at Christmas time. Always knew it was her cause I would hear her beautiful singing. My daughter one year said listen to her sing can we put money in . My daughter thought she had beautiful voice. May you rest in peace with your son now.

My condolences to Beverly's family. I met her when I was the executive director of the Berkshire Food Project. She was always upbeat and first and foremost a proud Mom.I used to get severe migrains and she would always say "let me help you".She would do a special massage on my neck and shoulders and loosen them up and helping to lesson the headache. She used to love to help in the kitchen and as the years passed I would see her out and about and we would always talk.Dear Beverly I'm going to miss you. RIP dear angel With Love

Bev had a presence like no other. Her personality was infectious as was her mischievous manner! She was a staple on the sidewalks of North Adams, riding around "causing trouble" as she put it! You will be missed Bev.
