Dana P. Middlebrook, 73
ADAMS, Mass. —
Mr. Dana Paul Middlebrook, 73, of Adams, died on Monday, December 4, 2023, at his home.
He was born in Pittsfield on July 5, 1950, son of the late Randall and Marguerite (Jenks) Middlebrook. He attended schools in Dalton and graduated from Wahconah High School.
Mr. Middlebrook was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the United States Navy until receiving his honorable discharge on August 6, 1970.
Mr. Middlebrook last worked for Osterman Propane in North Adams until his retirement. Earlier he had worked for the former Whiting Energy in Dalton and General Electric Company in Pittsfield.
He was an avid bowler and longtime member of Mt. Greylock Bowl. He had also served with the Adams Forest Wardens.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Joan I. Lemoine, whom he married on June 23, 1973; his son, Timothy Middlebrook and his wife Cynthia of Summerville, SC; his daughter, Kimberley Dubis of Adams; by his four grandchildren, Ethan and Griffin Dubis and Jacob and Norah Middlebrook as well as nieces and nephews.
Per Mr. Middlebrook’s wishes there are no funeral services.
Memorial donations may be made to the Greylock Animal Hospital with “Angel Fund” in the memo, 1028 State Road, North Adams, MA 01247.
