Nancy A. Rodovick, 89

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mrs. Nancy A. (Hilton) Rodovick, 89, of Adams, died on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born in Adams on December 27, 1933, daughter of the late James and Katherine (Perchtolt) Hilton. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.

Mrs. Rodovick worked for many years in the Naval Ordnance division of the General Electric Co., Pittsfield until her retirement. Earlier she had worked for the former Sprague Electric Co., North Adams.

An avid golfer, Nancy was a longtime member of both Forest Park Country Club in Adams and Waubeeka Golf Links in Williamstown where she had won several championships and had five holes in one. She was a member of the Adams Turners and an avid Boston Redsox and New England Patriots fan, she also enjoyed playing Keno and traveling to the west coast to visit her California family.

Her husband Joseph A. Rodovick, whom she married on August 20, 1955, died on October 23, 2005. She was also predeceased by her daughter Jean Rodovick who died on February 29, 2016.

She is survived by her son Joseph J. Rodovick and his wife Linda of Stamford, VT; her daughter Julie Rodovick and her partner Ginny Fuller of Adams; Jean’s longtime partner Colleen Cunningham of CA; two grandsons, Matthew Rodovick and his wife Emily and Mark Rodovick and by three great grandchildren, Farrah, Mason and Lennon.

A private service for family will be held on Friday, December 8th at 4:00 P.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. There are no calling hours. A burial and celebration of life will be at a later date in the spring.
