Recollections & Sympathy For the Family
Post Comment
Even though the Red Sox and the Yankees had a horrible season, Bob and I always managed to have a good conversation about both teams. I so enjoyed sitting with him after a game and chatting. I am terribly sad about his passing and send my condolences to his family.
Parting words....Go Red Sox, Bob!
Fondly,

So sorry to learn of Bob's passing. It has been several years we have been out of the area and not seen or talked with Bobby or got to know his young family. Our last visit was at the little lunchenette on Cole Ave while having breakfast. and a cup of coffee and he was there doing the same. While out of touch, our family members are always on our minds and in our hearts. May Bob rest in peace.

So sorry to see this. Nothing I enjoyed more than a cup of coffee with Mr. Ellsworth at Donna’s. He routinely clipped my articles from local papers throughout my career and I always appreciated that. Just a really kind, good man. RIP.

My condolences to Bob's family, I have done a few Instacart deliveries for Bob, in just the short time I've known Bob, I really enjoyed talking to him even though they were short he was a very outgoing person,Bob would always give an extra $2 cash and would say go buy yourself a cup of coffee, I haven't seen Bob in wks and just want the family to know that I really enjoyed meeting Bob and talking with him.

I'm so sad to learn about Bob's passing. He was such a nice man, and had the best memory about almost everyone in town, going way back. I use to stop in and visit with him on my walks. God Bless you Bob and your family.

My sympathy goes out to the Ellsworth family. Bob was a good friend for 70 years and a teammate on many baseball teams. He will be missed.
