Joan L. Lampiasi, 88

ADAMS, Mass. — Joan L. Lampiasi, 88 of Adams, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Williamstown Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Adams on October 17, 1935, daughter of the late Albert and Pelagia Mierzejewski Marszalek, she attended Adams schools and was a graduate of the former Adams High School. Joan was employed for several years for the former Shea’s Store in Adams and also the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams as a bookkeeper, after which she became a homemaker.

She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Adams.

Her husband John J. Lampiasi, whom she married on October 2, 1954, passed away on January 16, 1999. She is survived by a daughter, Antoinette “Toni” Armstrong of Adams and her companion Keith Dykes, a brother, Gregory Marszalek of Adams, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Joan will take place Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 11AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery in Adams, there are no calling hours. Donations in her memory can be made the St. Stanislaus School, 108 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220. The TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME in Adams is in charge of arrangements.
