Jacqueline Dubis Seuss, 86

ADAMS, Mass. — Jacqueline Dubis Seuss, 86, of Dedham, MA, a native of Adams, died Friday, October 27, 2023 at her home. She was born in North Adams on October 14, 1937, a daughter of the late C. Fred and Wanda (Mazinski) Dubis. She graduated from the former Adams High School with the Class of 1955. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English and English Literature from UMASS Amherst and earned a master’s degree in library science from SUNY Albany. Jacqueline was an instructor at Springfield College and Bowling Green (KY) State University, and later worked as an acquisition librarian at Boston College and as the reference librarian at Tufts University until finally retiring in 2001. She had been a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams and volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of Boston and the MSPCA. She is survived by a sister, Elaine Dubis Kittler of Connecticut, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4th at 9:00 AM from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 25 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no calling hours.
