Anthony Murach, 61

Anthony Peter Murach Jr. 61 of North Adams died on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Anthony was born in North Adams, MA on August 17, 1962 a son of the late Anthony Murach Sr. and Doris (Volff) Murach. He attended schools in North Adams and was employed for many years at George Apkin and Sons.

Survivors include his sisters, Marion Murach, Judith Armata, Margaret Apkin, Bonnie Anderson; brothers, Johnny Murach, David Murach and his longtime friend and caregiver John Michalenko. Anthony was predeceased by a brother Michael Murach who died December 27, 2002 and a sister Linda Boucher who died June 28, 2022.

 

FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for Anthony Murach will be on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Southview Cemetery in North Adams. You were Marion’s favorite (and mine!) you would babysit and after she would leave you would toss out the window onto the roof across the road! So awesome ?, then popcorn & playtime it was.. or whatever movie we could find on tv back then.

Rest in peace Uncle Tony, you were a great uncle. I wish we got to spend more time together and I have some serious regrets at the moment but you were truly a cool dude who introduced me to Tekken, and WWF on PlayStation 1. I miss those times, and I miss them even more than ever.
