Mark Mundy,67

Mark James Mundy, 67 of Florida, Massachusetts died on Sunday October 15, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center.

was born in North Adams, Massachusetts on November 1, 1955, son of Dorothy Spencer and the late Gerald Mundy. He attended North Adams schools and graduated from McCann Technical High School. was currently retired but had been employed by the North Adams School System as a grounds administrator. He also assisted with the family business, Rock Manor in North Adams. Early in his career, he was employed by Willowood Nursing Home in Williamstown.

Mark married the former Laurie F. Scott on September 12, 1987. Laurie predeceased him on November 30, 2008.

Mark greatly enjoyed being outdoors, as he loved to hunt, and fish and hike. as well as four wheeling with his Jeep.

Mark is survived by his mother Dorothy Spencer and brother Duane Mundy both of North Adams. He also leaves behind his two sons; Jamie Mundy of Bristol, NH and Jason Mundy (Angela) of Franklin, NH, as well as three grandchildren, Brayden, Madison and Jordan.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Mark James Mundy will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, 131 Main Street, North Adams, MA. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery in North Adams.
