Adeline Berry, 92

Adeline Julia (Poirot) Berry, 92 of Florida, MA died at home on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

She was born on October 11, 1931 in Florida, MA, a daughter of Louis Joseph and Marie Louise (Boeniger) Poirot. She attended school on Florida Mountain and was a 1949 graduate of Drury High School.

She married Joseph Charles Berry on Auguust 1, 1959. Joseph predeceased her on February 9, 2008. She had been previously employed at Sprague Electric. Adeline was a devoted mother, homemaker, seamstress, woodworker and a very accomplished artist. She served as Vice President of the Mohawk Trail Blazer Snowmobile Club.

She is survived by two sons; Joseph C. Berry, Jr. of Pittsfield and Robert W. Berry of Mooresville, NC and five daughters; Bonnie A. Konopka of Tampa, FL, Addie L. Berry of North Adams, Brenda Berry Irons of North Carolina, Joan M. Lewis of Drury, MA and Gina E. Berry-Cellana of North Adams. Two children; Charles S. Berry and Lynn A. Burdick predeceased her. She was also survived by her brothers; Henry Poirot of Adams, MA and Charles Poirot of Florida, MA and her sisters; Claire Burdick of Florida and Sandra Bergeron of North Adams. She was predeceased by her sisters; Marie Rowett, Rita Dugal and Marceline Rooney and her brothers; John Poirot and Louis Poirot. also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service to celebrate the life of Adeline Julia (Poirot) Berry will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the family lot at Florida Cemetery.
