Kenneth E. Lefave, 87

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Kenneth Earl Lefave, 87, of Adams, died on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield.

He was born in North Adams on December 2, 1935, a son of the late Ambrose and Mildred (Burdick) Lefave. He attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School.

Mr. Lefave was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served with the United States Navy from 1954 until receiving his honorable discharge in 1958.

Mr. Lefave worked as an electrician, retiring from Specialty Minerals in Adams. Earlier he had worked for the former Sprague Electric Co., and several area contractors.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and watching NASCAR.

His wife, the former Joanne C. Driscoll, whom he married on August 18, 1956, died on August 26, 2018.

He is survived by his three sons, Lawrence Lefave and his wife Malinda of Vancouver, WA, Stephen Lefave and his wife Susan of Adams, and Gary Lefave and his companion Evelyn of Vineland, NJ; two grandchildren; one great grandchild his sister-in-law Marilyn Kelly of Bradenton, FL and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Lefave.

Funeral services and burial will be private for the family.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, 877 South St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham MA 02452.
