Marcia Latimer, 69
ADAMS, Mass. — In Loving Memory of Marcia Marie Latimer
Marcia Marie Latimer (Bourdeau) departed from this world on October 7th, 2023. She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Marcia was born on July 16th, 1954 in Vermont to the late Alpha and Jean Bourdeau. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lance T Latimer, with whom she shared many years of life's journey. She was a loving mother to her sons, Jess Latimer and Lance Latimer, and her daughter, Jaclyn Latimer. She is also survived by her grandson, Lane Bonneville, and her sister, Connie Antonetti of Lake Grove, New York. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her siblings, Stephen, Ronald, Michelle, and Patrice. Zachary Bonneville, whom she loved like one of her own children, also preceded her in death.
Marcia dedicated her life to being a homemaker and ensuing that her children felt her love every day of their lives. Marcia also found joy in working at the local supermarket, where she formed lasting connections with the people in her community. She had a knack for brightening the day of anyone she encountered, and enjoyed hearing about customers' lives (and the local gossip).
Her beloved grandson, Lane, brought immeasurable joy and pride to her life. In Marcia's own words, Lane was her life's greatest gift. Lane's presence always brought a smile to Marcia's face, and his witty banter never failed to make her laugh. She embraced the role of grandmother with boundless love and affection, creating cherished memories together.
Marcia had a heart full of compassion and a deep love for helping others, which she demonstrated through her years of foster care. She was known for her caring nature and her ability to bring comfort to those in need. She was the light in a dark time for several foster children throughout the years. Her calming presence ensured that anyone who came into her care felt safe and well cared for.
A true sports enthusiast, Marcia had a special place in her heart for her New York Giants. She also had a love for NASCAR racing and enjoyed watching thrilling races. Marcia cherished moments of relaxation, often found on her porch, savoring a cold glass of iced coffee while engaging in meaningful conversations with loved ones. Never far from Marcia's side was her loyal companion, Roxie. Roxie held a special place in her heart, and her family takes solace in knowing that Roxie was there to eagerly greet her on the other side.
It was Marcia's expressed wish not to have a memorial service. Instead, the family encourages friends and loved ones to remember her in their own way, reflecting on the fond memories and the love she shared with all. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com
