Daisy (Kulas) Guerin, 94

Daisy (Kulas) Guerin, 94 of Warner, NH, formerly of Cheshire and Adams, MA, passed away Monday, Aug. 14, 2023. 

Daisy was born in Cheshire on March 27, 1929 to Polish immigrants, Eleanor (Chmura) and Adam Kulas. She was the 11th of 13 children. Growing up she attended Adams schools and St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Cheshire. She married Raymond Guerin, Sr., of Cheshire on September 9, 1949. They had two children, Raymond, Jr., (Chuck) and David. She and Ray raised their family in North Adams.

Daisy worked in secretarial roles at GE, the former WR Grace and former Adams Supermarket before retiring in 1994.

Together she and Ray enjoyed gardening, bowling, polka dancing and tag sales all over the Berkshires. In their later years, they joined the senior center to learn to use computers and the internet. They also enjoyed their "splash class" at the North Adams YMCA, along with all of the other friends that they met there. She will always be remembered for her love of her grandchildren, quick wit, and feisty nature.

Daisy is survived by her son Chuck Guerin and his wife Robin, four grandchildren, Jennifer Guerin and her husband

John Taylor, Kristen McGillicuddy and her husband Shaun, MacKanzie Thomas and her husband Harold, and Casey Guerin. A brother, John Kulas and nine great-grandchildren, Gavin, Madeline and Brendan McGillicuddy, Henry and Lilly Taylor, Veda and Adele Thomas, and Wells and Hollis Guerin, all of whom will miss their Grammy Daisy. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Ray Guerin, son David Guerin.

Graveside services will be on Monday, October 2nd at 11am, Bellevue Cemetery, 149 Bellevue Ave., Adams, MA. The TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME in Adams is in charge of arrangements.
