Marjorie Williams, 82

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mrs. Marjorie E. (Weyers) Duby Williams, 82, of Adams, died on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She was born in North Adams on April 7, 1941, daughter of the late Richard Weyers and Dorothy (Fields) Weyers Jones. She attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from the former Williamstown High School.

Mrs. Williams worked as a secretary in the admissions office of Williams College for many years until her retirement.

Her husband, Richard Williams, whom she married on May 7, 1977, died on August 26, 2000.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ellen Snow and her husband Chris of Adams and Susan Duby and her companion Joe Daley of Germantown, NY; one grandson, Connor Snow of Adams; one brother. John Weyers of Pownal and by five special nieces and two nephews.

She was predeceased by her former husband, Richard E. Duby and by her brother Richard Allen Weyers.

Funeral services will be private for the family. There are no calling hours.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.

My deepest condolences to Sue, MaryEllen and entire family. I enjoyed being around mom for yrs. Especially when I was at her house painting. We shared stories and laughed so much. I will miss her dearly as all of you will. She is now your guardian Angel. Thinking of you at this difficult time???
