Erin Jeanne Freitag-Puppolo, 65

ADAMS, Mass. — Erin Jeanne Freitag-Puppolo, 65, of Hazelton, Penn., a native of Adams, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2023 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

She was born in Adams on April 14, 1958, daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (McBride) Freitag.

She graduated from Hoosac Valley High School and Northeastern University, Boston. She also attended the US Army War College.

Erin worked as a civilian employee for the US Department of Defense as an administrator in the US Army human resources department until her retirement.

Erin was passionate about helping others, no matter the time or the day, and loved to travel.

She is survived by her husband, Perry M. Puppolo, her children Michael, Ryan and Fallon; their spouses Kristen, Stephanie, and Cody; her grandchildren Jack, Emma, Mia, Conner and Logan; her brothers Kenny Freitag, David Freitag, Joey Freitag and Shaun Freitag; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27 th at 12:30 PM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 11 AM until 12 PM at the funeral home.
